The National Social Impact Leaders’ Summit (NSILS) is a flagship initiative of the MARCUS ODIANOSE UGHULU FOUNDATION FOR PEACE AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT (MOUFPSD) in collaboration with National Orientation Agency (NOA), the Federal Ministry of Youth Development and other strategic government institutions, development partners, civil society organizations, and the private sector, the Summit serves as a national platform for dialogue, innovation, collaboration, and action. Also, established to provide a credible platform for youth engagement, social innovation, peacebuilding, and sustainable development. Following the success of the maiden edition, NSILS 2.0 expands its focus to address one of the most critical priorities facing Nigeria today: mobilizing young people as agents of peace, democratic resilience, and sustainable national transformation. The Summit will convene representatives from government ministries and agencies, security institutions, development partners, the private sector, academia, traditional and religious institutions, civil society organizations, and youth groups from across Nigeria. Through dialogue, policy engagement, networking, and action-oriented sessions, participants will develop practical recommendations and partnerships capable of strengthening peace, democratic governance, and sustainable development outcomes nationwide.

Generation Peace:
Mobilising Youth for Conflict Prevention, Peaceful Elections, and Sustainable National Impact
This theme recognizes the critical role of young people in promoting peaceful coexistence, strengthening democratic institutions, preventing conflict, and driving sustainable development.
As Nigeria continues its democratic journey, the Summit seeks to inspire a generation of youth leaders committed to dialogue, tolerance, civic responsibility, national unity, and transformational leadership.
